Lehman Administrators Chase Exotix Over $9M Trade Error

Administrators for Lehman Brothers' European trading unit have sued Exotix Partners in London for allegedly profiting from a trading error when the now-defunct investment bank sent the securities broker thousands more Peruvian government bond securities than it was supposed to.

The PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP-employed administrators for Lehman Brothers International (Europe) are seeking $9.3 million in damages from Exotix in the High Court for alleged breach of contract after the broker, which specializes in emerging markets, didn’t return the almost 23,000 Peruvian government bonds delivered by mistake.

le Classi 3 e 5, secondo le sacre scritture, devono essere " satisfied in full ", non " paid full ".

Ciò vuol dire che devono essere soddisfatte fino a quando ci saranno eventuali liquidità di cassa, ma non che debbano essere pagate totalmente.

Come è facilmente comprensibile, la differenza non è di poco conto!

Lehman Judge Signs Off On MBS Claims Estimation Deal

July 6, 2017

A compromise years in the making to resolve claims against Lehman Brothers for selling billions of dollars' worth of dud mortgage-backed securities before its collapse by using a court-assisted estimation process was approved by a New York bankruptcy judge Thursday, who hailed the deal as "impressively robust."

The multiparty deal approved by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Shelley C. Chapman stipulates that Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. will waive its right to challenge the court’s ultimate determination of what the defunct firm owes investors for the repurchase of MBS.
