Ekosem-Agrar AG: Bondholders vote for the restructuring of the Ekosem-Agrar bond 2012/2022
Walldorf, May 30, 2022 - The meeting of the bondholders of the Ekosem-Agrar bond 2012/2022 (ISIN: DE000A1R0RZ5) approved the proposal of the creditors' advisory board for the restructuring of the bond put to the vote by the company with a clear majority of over 99%.
The proposal essentially envisages reducing the interest rate to 2.5% p.a. and extending the term by 5 years. The difference between the original interest rate and the interest rate reduced to 2.5% is paid out at the end of the term in addition to the nominal repayment amount. For the reduced interest rate of 2.5%, there is a deferral regulation involving the joint representative and the members of the creditors' advisory board. With regard to the repayment option in the event of a change of control, it was decided to increase the quorum for the effectiveness of the exercise of the option to 51% of the outstanding principal amount of the bond.
The joint representative proposed for the 2012/2022 bond, e.Anleihe GmbH, was also elected with a clear majority of 97%.
